Great place to stay. Wonderful useable indoor and outdoor spaces. Kitchen is well supplied with dishes, pots, pans, bakeware, glasses and bar equipment. As stated in the listing many outdoor toys are supplied and some indoor games as well. Very walkable to the beaches, restaurants and coffee shops.

Casa Lenta was an amazing accommodation for my family trip (4 adults, 4 kids) to San Diego. Great location and a 1 minute walk to the beach. The house is exactly as pictured and very clean. The neighborhood was private and quiet while being close to restaurants and the beach. Kip was an excellent host and very professional. His communication was fast and always made us feel at home. We made good use of the hot tub, grill, fire pit and living space. We traveled with children between the ages of 6 and 12. The house might might not be the best for toddlers unless you move some of the nice decorations to prevent accidents. We would recommend a rental car if you plan on going to the zoo (25 min drive), Legoland (25 minutes). Parking on property was easy. Casa Lenta receives our highest recommendation.

The place was perfect. It was clean, with soft beds and soft sheets. The beach access was super convenient with access to amazing beach toys as part of the rental. Great location being close to things but still incredibly quiet and peaceful.

We splurged to celebrate our mother’s 90th bday. The house, the location, and the attention to detail made the weekend magical. We especially appreciated the beautifully stocked kitchen. Kip and his team made our stay at Casa Lenta absolutely perfect, and we hope to come back. We are a family of four with two young sons (both under 3). Kip’s team made sure we had everything we needed - 2 cribs, high chair, potty for our toddler - and they even set it all up for us. For parents traveling with kids, this is a dream. The house is a short walk to a beach with a life guard on duty and a playground perfectly suited for little ones. The neighborhood is beautiful, quiet and safe and this particular house is immaculately done. The hot tub is massive (seriously, our toddler thought it was a pool), every bathroom is stocked with shampoo/conditioner, nice robes etc. Truly like staying in a 5-star hotel, but even better, because it’s all to yourself. Thank you, Kip and team, for a great stay!

We had the distinct pleasure of being one of the first vacationers in this fantastic property. To summarize succinctly, this property is 5+ stars. The amenities were truly high end, and not stuff that was meant for a rental property. There was attention to every detail. On arrival, our family arrived to fresh, white peonies in the dining room and in each bedroom. Towels were aplenty, and the kitchenware was top notch with La Creuset and Crate and Barrel amenities, and branch new stainless steel appliances that felt like home. The bathrooms were impeccably clean, and the French soap and accompanying hand lotion were also top notch, as if we would use in our own homes. I cannot emphasize the attention to detail. Turkish beach towels were provided for at least 8 people. The amenities in the bathrooms were plentiful. In the garage were 4 boogie boards from Surf Ride Boardshop down the street. There were additionally 2 surfboards. 8 Surf Ride Beach Chairs, along with two beach umbrellas, were provided with access to a Townie Beach Cruiser. Additionally, there were two foldable CB tables that you could take to the beach if you wanted. In the back yard, there was a brand new stainless gas grill, situated next to a cornhole set that my kids played on every night. There was little need to ever use the AC, the fresh ocean breeze was enough to keep the house well ventilated. Our days consisted of a soccer tournament, but each morning started with a short 5-10 min stroll into town where we had either Lofty's Coffee or Madeleine's Cafe and Bakery each morning before we engaged with the rest of the family. When it came to beach time, we would walk out the property, make a right turn and walk one block. You have to walk down 150 quick steps and you're on the beach at Tide Beach. Time from door to beach and setting up chairs was 5 minutes at a very leisurely pace. It was less crowded than other beaches, and we spent all our free hours there. It was perfect to spend a few hours at the beach, walk back, take a nap, and then go back out to the water. It was such a joy that we did not have to purchase a single additional amenity to enjoy the beach. Clearly, this amazing team thought of all the requirements that would make this a memorable experience. I would not hesitate to come back to this place again. It truly felt like a home, and we had amazing memories here. Thank you, Kip, for being so responsive and for providing a fantastic experience!!!

This is a fabulous luxury rental! It’s a few houses from beach access, within walking distance from coffee, restaurants and shopping. Plus it has beautiful views, it’s been recently remodeled and everything inside is super nice. We really loved the beach amenities! 2 foam surfboards, 4 boogie boards, umbrellas and paddle boards. So much fun in the sun. Oh and the sound system is also super awesome. The house manager, Kip, is there for anything you need. This house helped make the best vacation our family has ever had!

I have nothing but stellar reviews of the house and Kip. Words can't express how awesome of a time my family had at this house. The house was advertised perfectly and what you see is what you get-all of it and more! Some of the earlier reviews covered a great deal of accurate detail so I don't want to repeat; but I do want to say Kip went above and beyond in his role as the host and made everything just perfect. He is readily available and easy to reach should you need anything or have any questions. Everything in the house works perfectly and the house is just loaded with anything and everything you could want or need. I was treated better at this property and provided service better than staying at the highest end 5 star hotels. You can't go wrong here and cheers to an amazing job Kip is doing with this property. This is a true luxury experience. We hope to be back-THANK YOU.

This was a spectacular stay—a beautiful house with elegance. Everything had a nice touch to it. Comfy, cozy, homey and just perfect for a vacation. All that is needed to enjoy the beach was provided. The backyard was lovely, with a massive hot tub that was perfect for early morning or mid-day or end-of-day relaxation. Truthfully, this is probably my fav yearly Airbnb stay in Cali. Bathrooms were large and spacious, and all shampoos, body wash and condition were my fav brand. That aside, the owner is the most thoughtful owner you will have seen. I would give this stay and house 20/10. It’s A++++

I had such an amazing time at Casa Lenta, it's truly one of the best homes I've had the pleasure to stay in. Everything from the furnishings, amenities, and insane location just steps away from the beach, everything was high-quality and was absolutely worth the price. Wake up in the morning to catch the sunrise on a run on the beach, head over to the amazing cafes right within walking distance, relax at the house to catch up on your favorite book, listen to your favorite tunes on the house-wide Sonos system, and then have a picnic to enjoy the sun setting in the distance. What more could you want? An unforgettable experience, Kip was very responsive, helping us out with our requests. If you plan on staying in Solana Beach or in the San Diego area, you'd be missing out if you didn't book Casa Lenta.

This home elegantly and easily accommodated five adults. The downstairs living area is open, easy to move around, and filled with light. The proximity to the ocean, restaurants and shopping is perfect. The extra amenities and special treats provided were above and beyond any Airbnb I have ever stayed in. We had a fabulous time.

All 6 of us adults who stayed in this house agreed that this is by far the best Airbnb we have ever stayed in. The house is beautiful! Every single detail is thought through with next level amenities selected all through out the home. We were in awe of the soaps, lotions, candles, bikes, sound system and so much more. They even had creamers, Nespresso pods, wine and ingredients to make guacamole at the house for us. The neighborhood is in a super cute area and we enjoyed walking to the beach and to close by restaurants and shops. Seriously can’t say enough good things about this house! I do think it’s important to mention that there is a good bit of nudity in the art work around the home. Feel like it would be helpful for renters to know that as some could be very uncomfortable with this. Overall a 5 star wonderful experience! Highly recommend!

One of the best stays I’ve ever had the pleasure of in San Diego. Beautiful home from A to Z and Kip was beyond helpful with every request. Exceptional attention to detail with amenities such as the Le Labo products, morning coffee options, and sonos speakers throughout. Everything you could possibly need was available from bikes to beach accoutrements to top of the line linens and cook ware. The only thing I’d complain about were the fees! Would repeat 💯

When we had questions or concerns, we reached out to the owner and he responded within the hour. We walked down to the beach every morning which was amazing! Would recommend this place for sure!

Spotlessly clean and beautiful home — perfect for our stay. We particularly enjoyed the beautiful outdoor seating areas (multiple choices!) and Kip was super responsive when we had a question. Highly recommend.

We spent Thanksgiving week as a family of 8 and the house fit us perfectly! The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed to cook a Thanksgiving meal. The beds were comfortable, showers hot, and the space was decorated beautifully. Some decorations were not kids friendly (we had a 4 and 7 year old) but we just put those out of reach. We loved the outdoor areas and opening up the doors for indoor/outdoor living. We could not get the hot tub display to work at one point and Luxury Hosts immediately responded and took care of it along with servicing the hot tub. We truly could not have asked for a better stay!

Wow wow wow 🤩 Everything was top notch from the pre check in info, ease of check in, responsiveness of the team and that’s before we got into the house! The location is incredible walk to beach shops and restaurants. The house is beautifully decorated well stocked with essentials and spotlessly clean.
