Right on the water, beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. Really lovely home and walkable to restaurants, bars, and the OSide pier. Good amenities that matched description. Incredible views and especially amazing sunsets. Beach directly in front of the property was a bit rocky - but once you get into the water it was sandy. Easy access to surfing & boogie boarding. Host was very responsive and helpful.

Our family decided to celebrate my sisters 40th birthday last minute on the beach. Kip and his team were beyond amazing and helpful with everything we needed. The house is well equipped with everything you could need. Pictures do not do it justice. If you are thinking about booking do so. You will be happy you did.

Kip is one of the most best hosts I've ever stayed with - he was communicative, proactive, and gracious. The view from the living room and balcony was absolutely stunning, and everyone enjoyed making smores at the fire pit.

Ideal place for a family holiday by the sea!! Gorgeous views of the ocean and a beautiful, well-equipped house with high- quality amenities. Kip was extremely responsive and went above and beyond to make everything perfect. Easy walk to playgrounds and cafes and the Oceanside Pier.

Great location was able to get in some good family walks very enjoyable. It was also great for the two little grandchildren that I had with me as the deck was very safe and they enjoyed playing in the sand right there at the property. Great location great property!!!!

Luxury hosts was great to deal with. There were some issues at the house which they handled promptly. We had an excellent vacation.

We enjoyed our stay. The location is beautiful and we loved having wine on the deck overlooking the ocean and listening to the sound of the waves at night. Other than the waves, the location was quiet. We enjoyed walking the 3 blocks to the strand. There are some downsides to be aware of, though, which are not mentioned by any other reviews: —The place is well worn—it’s been repainted but there are spots that are unfinished (missing outlet covers that are not up to code, missing bathroom fixtures) or need TLC (doorknob to exterior door about to fall off). It’s very much a rental. —The house was not clean when we checked in. Two upstairs beds had dirty sheets. At our request management told us where clean sheets were located in the garage. Maybe just a fluke. —There is no bathroom with what is most logically the master bedroom upstairs. —We didn’t use the basement bedrooms but there is a distinctive smell down there, perhaps mildew. We didn’t investigate further.

Beautiful location!

We loved this place. You can't beat the location right on the ocean. The house had everything we needed. High end pots, pans and baking ware. Comfortable beds! Kip quickly responded to any questions we had. I would stay here again if I was in Oceanside.

Definitely booking here again! The view was beautiful! The location was close to a lot of restaurants, stores and shopping. The house was comfortable and clean, along with it being appealing to the eye from the furniture to artwork! The outdoor area was perfect for my children to play and enjoy the ocean. We really enjoyed staying! My children felt comfortable and at home. Couldn’t have been a better place to stay for an oceanfront vacation!

The pictures don’t do the place justice! It’s GORGEOUS! Stayed here for our first family vacation (plus both sets of grandparents!) and it was the perfect space for it! Lots of open, large space on the main level for everyone to get together. Rooms were nice retreats for our introverted moments. With so many full bathrooms, it felt like we all had our own little space as well. At no time did we feel like we were on top of each other or cramped. Loved having the balcony off the main floor to just relax and have some coffee in the morning while taking in ocean views and watching surfers. We watched the sunset from there every night. The downstairs sandy area with beach chairs, fire pit, and grill was the perfect way to wind down in the evening, enjoying food and then sitting around the fire to listen to the waves. So calm and peaceful. There’s lots to do in the area, not that you’d ever want to leave because this place is your own corner of paradise. Highly recommend!

Our Ocean Beach trip was once-in-a-lifetime for my family. There was space for everyone - 9 adults, a 3-year-old and an infant. Being right on the ocean was breathtaking. My 80 year old mom was overcome with how beautiful the accommodations were and being able to sit on the patio and enjoy the ocean. The beach was an easy walk up the road. The hosts had everything we needed to take to the beach; I especially liked the beach wagon to carry of the our stuff including beach toys. We cooked all of our meals because we didn't want leave our location. No local restaurant could offer our ocean view. The hosts responded quickly to all of my questions and messages - I had a lot. They were helpful with everything we needed. I 100% recommend this location for your special family gathering.

Had a great time! Our family enjoyed the beach which is just a few steps from the house. Location was also really close to supermarkets, etc. Highly recommend for a family trip.

Stayed here for a sweet 16! She wanted her toes in the sand and we were not disappointed. The views were breathtaking and the house was also comfortable with all the luxuries. We had family staying with us as well and the layout worked out perfectly. Enough space and privacy. So many things to do. Can’t wait to go back!

Spent an extended weekend celebrating my birthday and Father’s Day in this gorgeous home! We all enjoyed the location, and beach house experience! Would love to come back. Thank you Kip for always answering my questions and so quickly!

Overall, the stay wasn’t that bad. However, there were numerous things wrong with the home. AC wasn’t working, hot water heater wasn’t working, canister lights missing/exposed wires, damaged mirrors, 2 exterior doors were missing locks, an outdoor chair was broken, the umbrella stand was so rusted that the umbrella fell out… We had to cancel vacation plans to be available for techs to fix the AC and hot water since it was so miserable without. The worst part is that when I reported all of this after our stay, the host completely ghosted me. I haven’t heard back after requesting a refund given how many things were wrong, having to cancel plans to be available for repairs, etc. I’ve asked for a partial refund - not an entire refund - and I’ve texted and messaged them multiple times. The location was great, we actually loved the house if everything had been in order but there needs to be a lot of maintenance.

The house was lovely and its location epic. The host was responsive, but we spent much of our time at the house combatting a stench in the kitchen. After we ran the faucets, and introduced numerous stench-reduction devices, the host sent a plumber out to the house. The plumber isolated the issue to a trash compactor in the kitchen island. It was nice of the host to send the plumber, but shouldn't the house have been properly cleaned prior to our arrival? We think so.

Amazing property! My family and I had such a great time. Everything is as described and more! You won’t regret booking this home.

We had a great time with the family at this luxury beach house. The house is literally right on the beach. Large windows give you striking ocean views. The home is large and comfortable and was perfect for our group of 8 adults and 4 children. The beds are great! I usually struggle with saggy beds at short term rentals, but these beds are awesome. We especially enjoyed the boogie boards, surf boards, bikes and beach toys. The fire pit is a highlight. We had a great stay and will definitely be back.
